HOW TO Update Your Dialup Access Number

To change the number your computer dials to access the Internet under Windows 95/98, please follow the steps below.
- Find the new access number you wish to connect to here.
- Double-click the My Computer icon on your desktop.
- Double-click the Dial-Up Networking icon.
- Right click on the connection named Route24.net (this connection may be named differently, use the connection that you normally use to connect to the Internet) and click Properties.
- Change the Phone number to the new number and click OK.
- The next time you connect to the Internet, the new number will be used.
